Rainbow Ripple Class introduces you to a classic crochet motif that’s rhythmic, colorful, and incredibly satisfying to make.

In this class, you’ll learn how to work a ripple stitch from the center out, creating a beautiful star-shaped blanket. Starting at the center allows the waves to radiate outward, building a dynamic shape that’s perfect for bold color choices. Make it all in one color, use a color-changing yarn, or create bright rainbow stripes.

We’ll walk through the stitch pattern step by step so you understand how the increases form those signature peaks and valleys. Once you see how the rhythm works, it becomes wonderfully meditative — and easy to customize.

• Full blanket: 1200 yards worsted-weight yarn; we suggest Queensland Coastal Cotton or Berroco Ultra Wool.
• To get started in class: 100 yards worsted-weight yarn
• Size H crochet hook
