Night + Day Cowl
Night + Day Cowl Class introduces you to mosaic-style colorwork using Andrea Mowry’s beautiful Night + Day Cowl.
In this class, you’ll learn how to create bold, graphic colorwork using slipped stitches and two colors of yarn — without carrying both colors across every row. Mosaic knitting is an approachable way to work with color, and the results look far more complex than they are.
We’ll guide you through reading the pattern and managing color changes as you build the striking contrast that makes this cowl so eye-catching. By the end, you’ll feel confident working mosaic-style colorwork and ready to use the technique in future projects.
What you’ll learn
- How mosaic colorwork works
- Using slipped stitches to create bold patterns
- Managing two colors cleanly and confidently
- Reading a mosaic chart or written instructions
